About the Region
We anticipate that patent agents will become increasingly integral to the Patent Prosecution side of our practice, as the Firm continues to grow. In addition to preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and overseeing the preparation and prosecution of foreign patent applications, patent agents are relied upon to provide critical technical expertise, analyze technical documents and opinions, and assist in the selection of experts and preparation of expert reports, as well as analyze issues and arguments that often arise in Patent Litigation, Counseling and Opinions, and Due Diligence Investigations.
The Bilicki Law Firm seeks individuals with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, chemistry, and biotechnology related sciences. Qualified applicants must be eligible to take the Patent Agent's Examination administered by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Professional Development
Patent agents gain knowledge and increase their skill set by working closely on important client matters with shareholders and associates, who will answer questions, advise you on assignments, and share legal and technical expertise and perspective gained from years of experience.
Flexible Work Environment and Other Benefits
The Bilicki Law Firm offers a flexible work environment for those who may want to work part-time, job share, or work remotely due to family commitments and circumstances. We also offer competitive salary and benefits. Our compensation package includes medical and dental insurance, offered through a Cafeteria Plan with the ability to utilize a flexible spending account with pre-tax dollars, a 401k plan, reimbursement for bar expenses, and four weeks vacation per year. We review compensation annually.
