About the Region
At the Bilicki Law Firm, P.C., we provide a full range of intellectual property services to a broad range of clients, from international corporations, to an NHL hockey team, to small, newly formed start-up companies. We serve clients throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. Additionally, we work in dual-harness with our strategic alliance partners in London, Munich, Florence, Montreal, and throughout the U.S., who are among the best lawyers in their respective fields.
We seek associate candidates who will contribute to our tradition of striving to do the impossible. At least an undergraduate degree in one of the sciences or engineering disciplines is required, as well as strong law school academic performance. Most importantly, we are looking for lawyers who can work independently and think creatively. We value energy and enthusiasm for our practice, and place a great deal of emphasis on judgment and integrity.
The Firm has put together and is in the process of implementing an exciting strategic plan for growth. We are continuously seeking to hire attorneys and patent agents who want to be part of a firm with the major part of its growth ahead of it, and who share our commitment to excellence.
Professional Development
A key objective is to balance your interests in the field of Intellectual Property law with the Firm's and our clients' needs. Accordingly, we strive to provide attorneys with diversity in their work, as we and our clients value well-rounded intellectual property attorneys. We support our attorneys' professional development through training and seminars, including Continuing Legal Education courses, mentoring, skills monitoring, and performance reviews. We heavily invest in your professional growth and introduce you early on to the business side of the practice of law, including law firm economics, legal budget management, client development, and marketing, so as to move your career forward and make you an increasingly valuable member of the Firm.
Flexible Work Environment and Other Benefits
The Bilicki Law Firm offers a flexible work environment for those who may want to work part-time, job share, or work remotely due to family commitments and circumstances. We also offer competitive salary and benefits. Our compensation package includes medical and dental insurance, offered through a Cafeteria Plan with the ability to utilize a flexible spending account with pre-tax dollars, a 401k plan, reimbursement for bar expenses, and four weeks vacation per year. We review compensation annually are only two hours from Cleveland and Toronto and less than three hours from Pittsburgh. Even closer are Erie and Buffalo.
