Job Description
Primary duties will include preparation and prosecution primarily in diverse technological fields, including vehicular lighting, medical devices, RFID, beverage dispensing, chemical and applications. Duties will also include patent analysis review and management and patent acquisition and purchase management. This position requires the ability to autonomously develop claim sets and corresponding specifications with only basic disclosure from the inventor. Attorneys/agents interested in this position should have strong technical skills and in depth knowledge/experience in one or more areas of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry or computer science. Candidates should also possess strong communication and writing skills.
Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in a technical or scientific field, preferably Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Chemistry or Physics; registration with the United States Patent & Trademark Office; and at least 2 years experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Law firm experience is a plus.
